• Victims expresses gratitude
The people of Amassoma community in Southern-Ijaw LGA of Bayelsa state, on 16 October, felt a sigh of ease, as a team of the Keniebi Okoko movement paid an unscheduled visit, distributing relief materials, to victims whose homes were ravaged by flood.
The team who came in company of highly pronounced individuals made their way to the IDP camps.
Speaking to newsmen, the co-ordinator of the team, Mr. Adga Idumasaro, noted that as part of the philantrophic efforts of Pastor Keniebi Okoko, the aim of their visit was to ensure that the people are in proper living condition.
He also stated that, the team was on a visit to the various communities affected by flood, and reaching out to the affected persons.
Also, speaking on behalf of the victims, was one Mrs. Erela, who appreciated the team for their kind gesture, she prayed positively upon Mr. Keniebi Okoko, and said words can’t express her gratitude.
Some of the relief materials distributed are, bags of rice, bags of sachets water, mattresses, cartons of indomie, amongst others and huge sum of cash.
